What is included in the registration fee?
To participate in this event, all you need to do is raise a minimum of €450 which is your entrance fee. The following is included in your entrance fee:

A special designed 2025 event Jersey

Overnight in the Shearwater Hotel, dinner, and breakfast in Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe

Hot lunch on both days of the cycle

The use of a Cycle Mechanic where necessary

Energy drinks and food, beverages, etc at all stops along the route

Transportation for both cyclist and your bike back to Dublin on Sunday 11th May 2025

What is the accomodation?
Friday 9th May 2025: We will stay in the Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe, Co Galway. This is included in the registration fee.
Saturday 10th May 2025: We will stay in Cong, Co. Mayo. Further details will be provided at a later date.
How many cyclists will be participating in this Event?
The number of cyclists will be capped at about 80.
What about insurance?
As this is a charity cycle, each participant is responsible for ensuring that they have adequate personal insurance cover in place. To register for this event, you must follow the link to the Cycling Ireland supported event on Eventmaster, and you can obtain cover for this one-day event for just €10. If you are already a member of Cycling Ireland, you will automatically have insurance cover.
What happens if I want to go slower or faster than the others?
We will be splitting into three (3) groups once we depart Westmanstown, Dublin, which we find makes things run smoother and provides those who wish to step up or back the pace a little the option to do so. We ordinarily average from 22 - 28 kph.
